Hi, I recently discovered I’m assuming a tiny snail that randomly popped out of no where. I’ve never seen this type of snail in my tank before it crashed and there is no other type of clean up crew in my tank that could’ve produced this. The only clean up crew I may have is a crab that still maybe living who knows lol haha. But no idea what this is??? I’m sure it’s not harmful just have no idea where this came from. Sorry for the bad pics

How big of a tank? I'm looking to get some more for mine.
160 gallons for the display. I've had 2 batches of baby nassarius snails so they're obviously happy. I'll occasionally add another half dozen every few months or so.

Well if you have 100 ig I can do 50 for 80 gal. But I would love to see that. In both my tanks I always find it funny that shortly after I feed there is just a army of Nassarius snails slithering around my tank feeling with the wavything.

I need more. My conch mostly sleeps. I catch him regularly eating without leaving the sand bed. He just sticks his trunk out, sucks on a rock and goes back to sleep.
If I don’t have a sand bed in any of my tanks, what should I do?

Remove it and give it to someone or to your lfs.
It wouldn't do very well without sand.
I don’t even know how it got in there, I have a tiny patch of sand in my 90 where my other ceriths hang out. Can’t find anyone to take them either
