ID please: White thing on clownish tail... worm, parasite?

Background: I’ve had these 2 clowns in QT for almost 2 weeks now. They’ve been happy and eating well since their 3rd day in QT.

Yesterday I started medicating their food with General Cure (GC + focus in frozen Hikari brine shrimp).

I observe them quite often and this morning I spotted this on each of the fishes’ tail.

Coincidentally both clowns have this white thing in a nearly identical spot.

otherwise they look pretty good. Any clue what this is? Is it a worm, flukes? and the General Cure is making it exit the fish?

here’s a full shot of the two. They look good to me besides that white thing in the tail but they’re my first 2 fish and am as green as can be.

Oddly enough, or luckily - I guess, it went away. Both clowns are clear, eating their general cure dosed food really well & seem to be doing really well. (Knock on wood)

have about 7 more days of medicated food and by then I have to decide whether or not to put them through copper or not.

DT is still cycling: ammonia at zero with sky high nitrite so they’ll be hanging in QT for a bit longer

My two chromis did two weeks in copper and General cure in the food at the same time. Then a tank transfer and general cure and metro in the water column for additional two weeks. They have been in the Qt about another month now as I have been to lazy to aquascape my new reefer 350. Glad to hear your clowns are now clear
