I have this hanging out in my tank and I'm interested in knowing what it is. I was guessing a sea apple or a sea cucumber.. It comes into view as a ball, then opens up. The feathery tentacles seem to come out and feed it for 20 min or so then go back inside it. I see it about twice each week, otherwise it lives in a hole just behind where it is sitting. I was also wondering what kind of urchin is to the left.. It was quite small just bigger than a speck and hardly noticeable a month ago but now it's body without the spines is bigger than a pencil eraser. Ty!

No, I wish I knew... There's a lot of life on them. I found a gorilla crab, a tiny margarita snail and a decorator crab so far.. I saw what I'd swear was a baby eel a couple times! Lots of worms and tentacles... even 'bugs' but other than the store telling me it all comes from distributors I'm clueless.

Looks like a Pencil Urchin
I can't ID the other critter though. The ends coming out look like the tips of a Sea Cucumber.

Yeah, it's a sea cucumber. I had a piece of love rock with three on it before. They eventually died off though.

The cuck has grown a lot in the past few weeks... Seems to come out most on the days I feed frozen/thawed mysis... And a pencil urchin? I thought they were brown? Google here I come ;)
