Hello

My tank is a bit over a week into its cycle.

Today i found 2 things that I need help Identifying whether they are desirable or not

This thing is about 1/4 inche, its walking on the inside glass, though it's slow, it's not stationary, it keeps moving.... do i want this in my tank?

These guys, I noticed before, but today they are bigger and have... hrmm... tentacles? if i touch them, the tentacles hide but the structure does not.. i couldnt get good pictures because of cell phone quality and angle of where it is, but these are branching out of a single structure (think branches on trees)

First picture looks like a nudi.

Second picture looks like feather dusters and clove polyps.

nudipixel.net Most nudibranch are not good, but I think they're cool. Each species eats something different and unless you have what it does eat in your tank it won't survive for more than a few days.

Mike J, it does like like Pleuredhera Haraldi. Question is, how is it surviving the cycle process? and how did it end up in my tank.

Is this thing going to be reef sake, because i didnt kill it, and now i can't see it in my tank anymore.

When I cycled live rock the last time I had a real cool nudibranch. I guess I saw the eggs on the glass first. They'll be like snail eggs, but there'll wouldbe two circles. A survival instinct I guess. Like I said, if it's food isn't in there it won't last long. My guess is eggs on the rock or they are just tough little guys. If you research it you'll find it's a lot easier to find a genus than it is to find out what it eats. Not much research on nudibranch. I wouldn't worry about it, unless down the line you catch it eating something. Enjoy watching it while you can. Try to get a good photo for your archive.

1st one deffiently looks like a nudi, second could be clove, xenia or something simular....
