I'm not POSITIVE this is an invert. However, after posting it on my local marine forum, I'm beginning to wonder if it is a sea slug, or some sort of sponge.

Any clues?

I just realized I should probably post this in the noob forum. Sorry. I'm new to the hobby AND the forum.

Not a slug. I don't know what this is. Help

does this thing come out during the day? does it usually slink about the rockwork?

do you have trouble keeping snails? small hermits? have you ever had any clams suddenly die over night?

if i had to guess, i would assume this is one of those very destructive nudibranchs. they are nearly impossible to kill and if you have one, you probably have several.
