kill it as soon as possible. Use aptasia X, or I have heard of people turning off flow and then squirting vinegar at it using a syringe.

Is first just diff form of corraline

Aptasiacide is always the answer. They vanish when they see you coming. The trick is to act casual. Sneak up on your tank all casual like... don't notice the aptasia. Don't make eye contact. casually place your arm into the water and act as though you're there to chill and soak. ever so slowly inch your way towards the victim. Yell SHARK and as the aptasia looks for the shark move in for the kill.

I personally have never had aptasia but I have heard of using vinegar, as long as you don't use a lot, like a 1ml syringe.

More red than pink or brown. Just returned from vacation to find these unwelcomed guests

could you try to get a closer picture of the red? if it comes off with a turkey baster it could by cyanobacteria. If it is hard and encrusting it is coralline

Ran fingers over it and there is no movement
