Hard to tell what the red thing is. The first thing that comes to mind is a young gorgonian. Does it ever have any small polyps that come out along the sides of it? Could also be a strand of a red macro algae too.

Not real sure yet I just noticed it today ill keep an eye on it and keep updates about it are either of the two harmful?

By looking at the picture it seem that some are yellow, green and orange with pink skirt. it might be a Cherry charm.
