I saw this gorgeous photo on a FB post by ecoxotic, but they have given no answer as to the fish's identity. Can anyone here tell me what it is?

Think so? I've never heard of a lyretail, male or otherwise, that had either sky blue or hot pink on it anywhere.

I looked at other lyretail photos and you guys are probably right. Still the only one I've ever heard of with these colors.

Looks like a Squarespot Anthias, but you don't have a shot of his side.

That said, my guess is that it's a Pseudanthias squamipinnis like this one:
