I pulled this out of the tank and looked at it. It appears to be a baby snail. But I'm not sure.

I put it back. Although I'll probably never find it again if I need to get it out.

In this picture, you can see the "feelers" I think.

If it's a snail. Other than leaving it alone, what are your thoughts? Does it need shells? Why are they propagating? I thought you had to buy snails. Is this good?

Looks like a stomatella but hard to tell by the pics. If it is they are harmless ad a good part of a natural clean up crew

So these are ok to have eh?
 
No problem. Ya they come out mostly at night and consume algae. Cause no harm and have several in our dt and frag tank
