Hello, we have these in our tank and have no clue what they are. They stay small, about the size of a nickle for the big one. The big one is the 'mother' and splits regularly. The little ones walk away, often out of our sight, but then settle and stay put. They looks just like ricordia yuma in mini. Does anyone know what they are? They came free with some live rock we bought.

There is a similarity, but I can't find any that really look like it, especially in that flower nems have pointed tentacles (from what I can see) whereas these little ones have balls. Are there flower nems that dont get bigger than a nickle? I feed them mysis which they take readily. The mother usually splits after that, and the little ones tend to relocate after feeding. I just don't know. We've had them a while now.

Could be a Rhodactus or R. yuma though hard to tell from pics. Could you manage a closer more detailed pic ??? Also lok at Mini Maxis ???

Cheers, Todd

I'll have to move my rock a little to get a better pic, so not today, but I will. You guys are having all the same thoughts as us, we just keep running into the same issue. They are healthy, they eat, they split, but they never grow, and I don't know of any rics that stay that small, or types of nems that are that bright pink and green without getting any bigger. I love them, I hope they colonize and stay put!
