They're fine, just annoying. Sharp too, be carefull when sticking your hands in tank, iv ended up with one of them broken off into my hand.

It's a Vermetid snail, they cast out a snot web to catch floating debris.

Not bad, I just take my fragging shears and clip them and then feed them to the fish.
