I'm not sure what kind of algae or bacteria this is or what to do about it it's kind of a maroon velvet looking color and when the lights are on it creates the small air bubbles any ideas Thanks

I believe both are Cyanobacteria. The first image almost looks like a sponge, but has the tell tale signs of cyano. A simple way to tell is to wave your hand (a turkey baster or pw works well) over it and if it's displaced that easily it's cyano.

okay yeah it blows right away even the air bubbles are displaced easily so what do I do about it is it harmful

How long has the tank been setup? Water parameters?

The best ways to combat cyano are to reduce the excess nutrients in the tank and be sure you have good water flow.

The algae is unsightly and can smother corals.

the tank is been running for about 9 months I have a rio 3100 return pump and 2 hydor 1400 gallon per hour power heads I use 0 tds rodi waterI also have macro algae in my sump I have a GFO and carbon reactor but my protein skimmer craped out about a month ago,all my water parameters measure normal but I'm using kind of a cheap test kit API I'm looking into getting some hanna checkers
