I have 2 items for ID. One, I discovered yesterday and one this morning. Note, I have not added anything new to this tank in 5-6 months and have good husbandry. So here are the pics.

first one asternia starfish , they eat zoanthids, make sure you try to remove them. last one looks like a filterfeeder i forget the name to them. or maybe a sponge.

Ok so the snail is ok. But I had a bad feeling the other was not good news. I am still trying to get rid of flatworms :( Thought they were gone. Then I did a chemiclean treatment for cyano that shows up this time of year, and boom, they they were again on the glass when the lights came on. That was 2 days ago. So how to get rid of these guys? And will they also kill acros? This is the only one I've seen so far and he is now gone. Though in my experience, when you see 1 there's usually more.

The star fish is fine they only corals when there's no live rock I got thirty in my reef tank and never ate my corals I have herd of them smothering them when there's a lot of them but not one I would worry about the flat worms and cyno before worrying about. Tinny star fish

I've got Asterinas in my tank by the truck load, you have the white type, and they are ok. The colored Asterinas are the bad type.
In the second pic, Im thinkin sponge, if it doesn't move its not a snail.

I think this asternia and the snail (& possibly the flatworm) came in on an acro I bought from saltwaterfish.com. it was the last item I added to my tank and had none of these issues before. However, I feel it's my fault. I always use coral dip and this time I realized it was out dated and didn't. I have no place to get any locally and had no time to wait on shipping. My qt was set up with coppersafe so that was out too :( Live and learn.... Btw, that acro died in a month :(

I used flatworm exit 2 months ago and it seemed to work. Then after cyano treatment they were on the glass again. Cyano comes to this tank every January it seems. I do have pretty good husbandry. Wc every week, rodi, brs rox and gfo, bio pellets, mb7, great RO skimmer and tank flow, change filter bags every 3 days, vacuum sump and clean all equipment monthly. I test bi wkly also. All parameters good but my ph is ALWAYS at the low end of 7.8. Can't raise it for anything.

Tough to raise ph with a lid on the tank. Do you have any air exchange going on in the tank from above? canopy looks enclosed from all sides. Any fresh air being pumped in and bad pumped out?

It's a peninsula tank and has 2 large doors on each side. I closed them to take the picture since my lights are ati t5s and AI Sol Blues it's hard to get a good pic with them open. I live in Florida, the doors are always open except at night when I have sump lights on. I have a fan in the canopy and the house is open most days. I have also tried kalk. Now, that did raise the ph to 8.0 but also raised the alk too high.

Got ya. Powerheads breaking the surface up pretty good? Macro Algae in sump I would guess. Water go straight into the sump or does it flow from above it and break the water surface up?
You running a Calcium Reactor?

No calcium reactor, don't have need yet but dose liquid on the rare occasion that I do. Mag as well. Yes, I have Cato and culerpra in the sump. The tank isn't drilled but has surface overflow that goes straight to the sump. I have 2 returns on 2 mag 9.5 pumps. One return is mid level and one is a sand surface height spray bar running 5' down the center of the rock ridge (works GREAT), 1 wp40 on various modes throughout the day on the far end of the tank. It has excellent flow and surface movement. This tank has great current everywhere. The one thing I'm not too happy with is sump size. It's 30g. The largest I could fit through the doors. Future build is a new stand with a 55g sump.
