Mushroom for sure, but it looks like it might have been kept in low light for a while. I'm not sure about the color.

Thats cool man, last time i bought a peppermint shrimp from petco and when I was acclimating him I saw a purple tiny thing on the bottom of the container, well it was a baby mushroom. Now he is like the size of a quarter coin!!

How you can tell it was neglected of light is by how transparent the coral is. Coral should never be transparent

If its reaching out then it wants more light. Just let it soak in some light and with in a week or so you'll see it turn back to its normal colors

I had mushrooms covering most of rock when I first started the hobby. All of the ones that were transparent looking were all under a ledge or growing underneath the rock overhang. Once I brought them out, they would color the same as the rest of the group. Mushrooms are low light and they can survive for a long time in nearly complete shade, but in the end they do need light even if only a little.

Your mushrooms looks exactly like the shaded ones I pull out and into the light.
