Its kind of hard to tell but it looks to me like it is aptasia.
Look like Yellow Star Paly's to me too 
Watch out for them, they grow very fast!

Whatever they are, you do not want them. Kill or remove them ASAP!
It's hard to tell from the photo, but if they're not one of the other offered IDs, they could also be colonial hydroids. Again, no matter what, remove them....now.

Maybe, but who really cares what they are? The point is, they're a pest that needs to be eradicated....kinda like finding turds in your walls. Who cares if they're mice turds or hamster turds. You need rodent removal either way.

Some people would love to have yellow polyps. It's not like they're hard to control if you want to keep them trimmed back. And, I disagree with killing something that you haven't identified.
