Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm curious what these guys are on the glass of the tank. They don't look like snails as they have no shells. They almost look like baby squids when they move around and they are really active. They were in three different tanks at work.

They were on the glass but some were on the sand. my manager took one out and put it back in the water and he just started wiggling like crazy in the water column

Well we get fish in weekly at the store but all that was in the tank was a chocolate chip starfish and some nassarius snails.

The tank that didn't have them in there had some engineer gobys in it and one clown. I'm not sure if that could have caused it because the whole bay is running off one sump system

I'm thinking they exist because there isn't anything eating them fish wise. I'm not 100%, however, could be a strong possibility.

That's what my manager and I thought. Cause obviously the fish want nothing to do with them and this is the first time we noticed them. It came about while we were cleaning tanks. I was curious though if they were harmful or not. Like a parasite of some sort or just a baby snail (what my manager thinks) I don't know

From what i read the white ones are not that bad. I woke up one morning and had 2 swirling around my tank glass. Freaked me out. They say dont let them get out of hand. It seems their a sign of high nutrients if your number of them increase. I dont see anymore in my tank. This was a while ago. Google white flatworm. I think my info is correct but not 100% sure.
