Got this coral for free from the lfs on my birthday. She gave it to me to nurse back to health. She had one that was healthy n it looks like a ball of copper wire. She didn't know the name but said it was lps. Tried googling it but didn't find anything. It looked pretty rough when I first seen it but Since I got it its been improving daily. Thanks!!!

Can you get a better picture? Zoom up on it with some more light.

Try looking at Orange Leptoseris. That is the only coral that I can think of that would match that description.

It's at the back of my tank so when a zoom it get rly fuzzy. I'll try again when my lights come on.

It looks maybe like it could be related to
Orange Leptoseris but I only say that because it looked slightly like the jack o lantern but the jack-o has green in its second And doesn't look tightly packed together. Mine looked like tightly wound brand new copper wire lol. Rly bright copper color.

It still might be in family like leptoseris or pavona or lepastrea. Pavona looks more similar to leptosersis than a lepastrea.

This is as zoomed in as I can get with my iPhone 6

I'll look around on google because It does look similar to what you said.

Also this coral is in pretty bad shape but has been improving. Right now it looks way different than the healthy one at the lfs.
