My co worker has this gelatinous ball growing in his sump. He removes it but it will grow back a month later. Anyone able to ID this blob?

Just Dwarf cerith, Banded Trochus, Nessarius, and reef pods!

Hmm no idea, sorry. I will look around though. Is there a wrasse in the sump?

No Fish, just the above and macro algae.

I'm going to guess bacteria. Though I have no idea what kind
