I just picked this beauty up from the LFS. He told me what it was, but by the time I got home the name had escaped me. Your assistance in this mystery is greatly appreciated. Also, I got the skinny on care, but if anyone has ever had one and an provide some tips for care that would also be appreciated! Happy Reefing!!

If you are asking about pink one in center. It looks like a branching lobo. But a bit hard to tell from pucture.

If you confirm that is what it is others will post care. But no use posting that info if not correct coral ID.

Did some online research. It's an Acan Brain Coral. I am not sure which species, but it is beautiful pink and looks awesome.

There are several acan species. Using brain coral as the adjective for acan types is a new one i have not heard. But brain coral is a generic descriptive term used on at least a dozen LPS coral groups not even related. All acans are lower light levels.

Depending on which species can be very aggressive. Echinata being a stealth killer. Can shoot a spider type web several inches away. Hates any coral less than a hand width both vertically and horizontally away from it. Attacks are generally death to victims. Bowerbanki/hillae not as aggressive but attack more like Lobos. Generally attack when neighbors are very close. Lords are almost passive compared to other acan types.
