ID please?

Just noticed these little tufts emerging from pre-existing hard tubes on my live rock. I've only had the tank with live rock in place about 6 weeks. The live rock had all sorts of hard tiny shell-like tubes on it that I figured where "dead" when I got it. But just tonight I'm seeing these little white "tubes" with tufts at the end emerging from the tubes. Can anyone help me with what they are?

I also found a stomatella snail late last night who I think is a beneficial hitchhiker?

Just tube worms, beneficial. Wrasse and some other fish will eat those if they are bothersome to you. I only get them in my sump and overflows now. Stomatella are also beneficial.

Cool thanks! Just wanted to be sure they weren't a pest I needed to deal with right away. I think they're neat looking.
