I have about 50 of these guys on a piece of rock can anyone tell me what they are? The best view is right under the dragons breath leaf look like tube works or tube snails

Vermetid snail I believe. Harmless filter feeder.

But don't they multiply like crazy?

Depending on nutrients in the water. As long as not over feeding and maintaining parameters they shouldn't take over. You can however crush them with something like a screwdriver. Make sure to get the base as they can pull back in and regrow. Or can superglue their opening if don't want them.
