I don't know what this is, purple in color and the "legs" are spiny looking

brittle star. very common in all reef. come from live rock typically.

Looks like a micro brittle star. Good CUC member. Where you see one there are usually many more, when I feed it looks like little legs coming out of my LR. Used to have hundreds of them but my wrasses have cut them down to just a few.
