Can anyone tell me what this is? I thought it was aptasia, but after seeing different types of aptasia I don't believe that's what it is.

Pretty blurry, but it does not look like an aiptasia to me. Their tentacles are pointed. Could be a majano.

Would have said the same thing. Can you get a more clear picture for confirmation?
 
Looks more like a majano to me now, but can't see the oral disc.

Does it look like this with the lights on? Spread out more.

OK, we'll call that a positive ID then :)

Majanos are pests. They multiply fairly quickly and they can sting other corals. Thankfully they are easy to manage, in small quantities. You can kill them just with super glue or kalk paste. Most people have the former laying around. Just feed it to them, slowly. With super glue, once it retracts, just cover it completely and the hole it retreats into. With kalk paste feeding it does everything.
 
I personally like them, but that's just me [emoji14] also if it's the correct specie of peppermint shrimp, they will eat majanos. Copperband butterflies and matted filefish also eat them :)
