I have these small tubes coming off my rock that have silk like string coming out of them. What are they and how do I get rid of them?

Vermatid snails. They are filter feeders and will over populate with excess feeding. A few here and there no problem though. You can either get a pair of nail clippers and nip them at the base for removal or glob some superglue over the hole and that'll seal the deal. Pun intended. Lol. Aside from jabbing my fingers when moving stuff, haven't had a problem with them before.

I also use 2-part epoxy.
