ID please

I have a cocoon like thing on the back of my tank towards bottom connecting to sand bed. Was never there before today. It seems like encrusted sand and its hollow. I scraped some off but where its located I am unable to reach it without moving rocks. Dont want to unless I have to. Let me know your thoughts.
