Personally, I'm leaning toward chiton.

EDIT: If you can, get in there and poke it. If it's hard or leathery than best best is chiton. I have one and absolutely love it. He owns a little piece of rock in my tank and keeps that thing impeccable.

That's interesting. It's fuzzy all over. Even the top, not just the sides.

The brown spots are uniform all the way around both side. I have googled Nudi's, Flat Worms and just now...Chiton's. I have not found a picture that looks like it.

Google isn't always 100% accurate. It may just be detritus buildup. Looking at your last picture, I see what I believe are clear shell segments.

The white bumps down the center do look segmented.

What ever it is will remain a mystery for now. I left it alone and it's now out of sight. If and when it comes out of hiding again I'll try getting better pics.
