Give it a good squirt of Aiptasia X and then look closely at your rock work; if there is one, there often are others.

It comes In and out of a shell that came in a cleaning crew order.
With Aiptasia X you've got to get close to it, squirting a little formula in the water in front of the animal to kill any spores it might release when it senses an attack, and then blast it to kingdom come with a full squirt. And then it melts away.

I took it out and paced it in a container. It's definitely aiptasia. It is rooted in the shell. Can I use aiptasia x o. The whole tank without hurting my gsp or Xenia?

Sure, I've never heard of Aiptasia X causing any bad side effects. I would carefully examine aqua scape for any others as well.

Good luck

They spread that quickly? Fortunately for me, it was being quarantined in a nano. I thought that aiptasia x was something that you used like spot treatment. Can you dose a whole tank?

They can spread if the animal you're killing senses stress and releases spores into the water which can grow into adult forms. Just spot treat the one you see before you and examine rock work for others in days/weeks to come.

Sorry if my earlier message was confusing. By treating whole tank I was suggesting that you may have other aiptasia living on your rock work in addition to the one attached to the shell in your picture, and you would want to kill those animals as well. If you can't move those rocks out, you would want to treat/kill aiptasia living on them using Aiptasia X or a similar compound.
