Can you tell me what kind of red algae is behind the clown and how do I get rid of it ?

image.jpg It has a structure. I see the clown picking at it now and then. I think he eats it.

It's kinda similar to what I have , mine is really just fuzz though.

What kind of snails and clean up crew do you have in there?

Let's get some more eyes.
#reefsquad.

I think @twilliard knows algae. Maybe he can help.

Plenty of snails and crabs. Nothing eats it.

What I'm working on is diversity. Everything has a niche and numbers count when the mouth is a mm.
So in general with any Dino diatom and alge manual removal is first to give a head start to the CUC.
I have six types of common snails and somthing is eating some of it. My plan is to boost the number of what I have and also get some uncommon snails.
Sadly my coweries and a couple others didn't make it through shipping.

Cotton candy algae.It's the pits.

And yea tell me about it. Made it past qt probably because the nutints are so low in it. Mine came with some Calurpa a long time ago I Belive.

I never saw it in the qt or display until I won the bryopsis battle.

Never ending chess game.
