Can I just pull the aptasia off?It is had for me to see for certain. You may have Paly polyps and Aptasia growing in the same area.The closed polyps on the lower right look more like Palys to me.Hopefully they all look like these;

Haha read this too late. The rock is in its own little bucket, I pulled the 3 aptasia that were on it off, freshwater dipped it, then back in the bucket with a filter running carbon. Will this be ok?The best option is to use a special paste to smother and kill them. "Aptasia X"is manufactured by Red Sea and readily available.You may also look into eliminating them with a paste of Kalkwasser.Pulling at them will make matters worse.
I dipped for some little bugs that were crawling on the rock. I used a razor to remove a chunk out of the rock that the aptasia was attached toPlease be very careful when you do this https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/w...n-aquarium-store-near-you.94354/#post-1042699
I don't think freshwater is a effective treatment for Aptasia,you probably just angered the Palys.Keep a eye on that rock and the surrounding area for a long time.These pest have a way of coming back out of the blue.
