Hi all,
I’ve just come across some new critters in my tank after being on holiday, please could someone ID and inform me on any action that should be taken?
Thanks.

First pic vermetide snail you'll want to epoxy over before they spread. And the last pic is a stomatella snail he's a good guy.
Now the center pics...does it move? Could be a sponge....

How should I go about doing this? Any guides or anything on how to do it?

does it move?
Doesn’t move, was thinking it might be coralline algae, but just wanted to double check because of the protruding spikes? If it is sponge, should I leave it?

If its a sponge its fine....and for the verm just take a ball of reef epoxy and put over it....:)

With its segmented, armor-plated look, I thought the first one was a chiton, honestly .... Vermetids "fish" for floating detritus with a net made of snot, and can irritate both corals and reefers.

Second set _might_ be a barnacle. Does it extend feathery feet into the water, to kick food into its mouth?

Third set is indeed a stomatella, and a good cleaner-upper to have around.

I’ll try upload a video where you can see what I think could be that net, and maybe you can take a look and help make a more definite decision? If it does turn out to be a chiton as you suggest, should I take any action?

Not that I know of, will have to get back to you, will only be on Saturday though

Chitons are good guys to have around, but they move - and if you are seeing this guy fishing with a mucus net, it's not a chiton.

This sort of thing is precisely why I love real liverock, from the ocean! Where did yours come from?
