Any ideas what this is? A few have started appearing on my rock work recently. This one is about 4mm in size.

Does it cast out a net of mucus?? If so than vermitid snail epoxy over or break them off.

Will do, how do I stop them spreading? Have I introduced them with coral?

If you used dry rock, they came in on your corals. They aren’t beneficial but aren’t dangerous, the worst that will happen is that when they’re feeding the slime net hits a coral and it closes up a little. It won’t kill or hurt anything though, just annoying to corals.

Yeah they have only appeared since I purchased a torch and new hammer at Christmas, so guessing it's the torch

Plug it up with glue, the slime they produce can irritate corals.
