ID please

Hey guys. I have this weird purple growth all over my rocks almost like a macro algae, except nothing is eating it. Would love id + suggestion on what to do with it.

Looks like a type of turf algae. Have you tried an Urchin or a Fox Face?

I haven't yet, but always wanted a tuxedo urchin. Will give that a shot.
