I have yet to have anyone properly id it. No one seems to know. I figured I try here.Hard to say, it's an anemone whether it's a pest I am not sure. Myself I would error on the pest anemone site and remove it to a sump or else where.
Curly-Q Anemone?
yea looks like a curly-q, it can get huge and eat
So basically no different them my other nemsyea looks like a curly-q, it can get huge and eat fish if big enough.
Mine isn't huge yet. I only have one and it hasn't ever moved. I kind of like it. I have other anemones. So far for now I'm keeping it. I heard it can get huge. Another name is corkscrew anemone I found out from my LFS. All of my nems are capable of eating fish. So as long as it does not multiply I figure why not.I think I have the same thing all over my tank? I thought they were aiptasia at first too but they are getting absolutely massive. I was going to get some berghias to try and get rid but they are expensive over here so I don't want to buy them if they won't eat these.![]()
