Hey everyone I picked this clam up this past Saturday at my LFS during a super sale. Not sure what type is though, please help identify it?

Give it some time to settle in. It should straighten out

Yup, you only really see these kinds of spectacular color and pattern combos with Crocea.

Yup just a sponge, came on some live rock I guess. I had TONS of it last year but most of it died off

Be sure to give it lots of light. They need intense lighting 250 PAR min to stay healthy if its a Crocea or a Maxima, looks like Crocea to me. They also prefer to be on a hard surface and the sand. I would suggest finding a higher spot up on the rock for it.
