I was performing some maintenance on my tank when I noticed these clear/ white things stuck to my heater. There are also tons of them in my filtration system. Are they good or bad?

Hi! Looks like pineapple sponges. They are harmless filter feeders and you usually find them in the “dark places”. :). If you don’t like them they are easy to just pick off.

Most possibly these are small planaria... Or as said above, sponges... Neither will do harm :)

The planaria will eat the bacterial deposit on your heater, and sponges will simply filter :)
