I just bought what seems to be an ORA tricolor valida. If it is, is it worth 70 bucks for a 1 1/2 - 2 inch frag? Also the second one I have no clue. only liked it due to the pink polyps. Thanks in advance.

They both look significantly discolored, I would let them heal up a bit before trying to make an accurate ID. The cyphastrea looking coral also has some STN going on so I would keep an eye on that.

Ok thanks. The stn from the cyphastrea I think came from handling the frag since it has it on the same side on the other side of the frag. The acro on the other hand, has purple tips with brownish body. I guess from it being frag. Again thanks for the heads up.

The Cyphastrea is a meteor shower and hopefully will end up looking like this

Does look like Valida tricolor/blue tip/purple tip there's a few close variances, $70 is disturbingly high for that frag, however. Hate to see someone get ripped off like that..

I was hoping that I got a decent deal. Coming from a LFS. I'm relatively new to the scene and will learn from this experience. Thanks for the heads up.
