It was located on the bottom sand bed before I removed it. I'll take a pic of the snail that was near it. I dont know if I should leave in the tank or keep out.

Stationary. It hasn't move a spec since I put it in the shot glass

This is a Trochus snail. They dont't lay eggs.

Looks like a trochus or astrea, I dont think they produce eggs like that. This is intriguing.
