Pretty sure those are sponges. Fluffy thing with a cone coming out of the end.

Very common good hitchhiker. These little guys are a type of sponge. They are most commonly found in overflows and in high flow areas of the sump. However, they can sometimes bee seen in shaded areas of your rockwork.

There are several kinds with this general shape and some aren't fuzzy looking but they all have the cone coming out one end.

Pineapple sponges are good guys [emoji3317][emoji2536]‍[emoji3601]. I can’t really zoom in to get a good look from this photo. Can you get a better shot?

Q tip sponges are the same general shape but look like a tight wad of cotton with the cone coming out the end.
