Recently purchased 2 corals and this was attached. Is it okay to be in my tank? Or should I not add it.

I also immediately thought of a limpet, snail, or chiton. Does it have a hard shell at all or is it totally soft? Kind of hard to tell in the pictures.

It had a shell on it. I didn’t end up putting it in my tank as I didn’t want to take any chances of bad hitchhikers

I think it was a bivalve.

Another possibility, I've seen Stomatella snails lose their shells that look like this.
