I just found 2 of these guys in my filter sock. Does anyone know if they are good or bad?

Bristle worm (Hermodice carunculata), it feeds from your tank detritus, death fish and critters un the sandbed. Dont touch them, they can sting. But not a pest to worry, i think of them like a part of the cleanup crew, the population can rise but will level itself with time. If you dont like them there are natural predators like some crabs or diy traps. They mostly come out at night

yep bristle worm a good guy. They clean in places others can't. If they become to many traps.can be made. Be careful to handle can cause irritation from the fine hairs. Its a lot like fiberglass but worse

I'm rubbish with my colours so maybe they don't look red but they do look kinda redish to me, if there red then they could be fire worms, similar to bristle worms but more of a problem to corals I think.

If there not red then bristle worms they are :)
