Just got this frogspwan today and we noticed that thing on it. We tried to remove it but it doesn’t come off. It opens a little bit at the top and then closes really fast once in a while

I don’t think it’s glue, because when I put the white light on it closed really fast but just in the top. It comes off about 3 mm on the top and closes when it gets “scared”

Anytime! Just use some tongs if you have any, sneak up on the guy and pluck him off. That’s what I’d do.

The flat worm or the vermetid? The vermetid lay calcium carbonate tubes so the tubes are basically rock.

No not the Vermetid because they are not bad right. The flatworm is like a rock. I actually broke away a tiny piece from it.

Young Barnacle maybe? That’s a guess. It looked pretty flatwormish from the picture, odd it would be stony.

thing on the right is a worm, on the left side you said it closed when the lights turned on, could be a small clam. I had the same thing on my elegence coral

I think it's a barnacle. Looks like one at least. I used to have a bunch of them but they slowly disappeared for whatever reason.
