I use this tank as an observation/qt tank. I remove everything but pvc if I need to medicate. Anyway the tank has been empty since March 7th. I changed out 5 gal of water 4/17 because it looked a little cruddy. Noticed this on the front glass today in multiple spots and on the bottom. Can any tell me what this is. Should I break the tank down and clean. I planning on buying more fish once the stores can restock and have what I want.

Thanks for reply. I never noticed any coraline on glass but I did see a little in tubing In the sump area.

Thanks I just scraped off and did a small water change. I have A couple of fish in qt/observation now. I have chosen not to medicate unless necessary. I will leave them in there 30 to 45 days it just depends on how patient I am.

Usually I'm not that patient, but never mind, I'm not after the fish at all, corals I keep for 2 weeks, observing them few times per day, if can't find anything wrong, I'm dipping them in Dettol solution some corals and in peroxide 3-4% and observing them for other 2-3 dais and they go in the DT x
