ID Please

Can someone please help me ID this? It looks like some sort of crab, there’s a claw and antennas. Good or bad? Came with rocks.

YES! Has a claw, which is why I am concerned. Seems very attentive and shy any time I move or try to get a picture it goes back inside the rock.

Well its a filter feeder for sure.....Google filter feeder shrimp and crabs and see what you see. I don't believe its a pistol or mantis shrimp.

It could be a ghost feeder. Seeing if it comes out more to get a better picture.

That's what the claws remind me of but I'm pretty sure I'm seeing long shrimp antenna and a shrimp looking head

yea i was just looking and i'm guessing that's what it is. Beautiful crab and reef safe i think, but i don't know about the "reef safe" thing. I had a reef safe emerald that ate my acan and zoas and birdsnest before i finally caught it.

If it is a porcelain/anemone crab, that's probably the most reef-safe crab

I have one that showed up in my tank and it has been reef safe. Porcelain crabs usually sell for $20 in my area.

Okay it is a crab! Thanks everyone,
However I now believe there is a pistol shrimp somewhere! I hear an extremely loud popping/cracking sound once in a while

i think there are certain Gobies or it may be wrasses that like to pair up with pistols. I'm drawing a black at the moment but i'm sure others here know....
