So the tank is about a year old. Here are the latest paramaters as of Friday night using salifert kits:
The lights are ati blue plus x2 and coral plus with an actinic. The algae is kinda greenish brown with a few small red clusters around. And it's kind of keeping the sand glued together maybe this is better

Getting lazier and lazier with upkeep!
It's kind of hard to make a definite diagnosis without microscope pics, too be honest. So many times cyano looks like dino mats depending on the cyano color. Red patches go toward cyano... but, cyano seems to group with dinos as well. My occasional dino patches on the sand have a similar look as the first pic in white lights.
If the OP can post some microscope pics, that would be awesome. Otherwise, treat it as if dinos... siphon out as much as possible, get the nitrates and phosohates up a bit to around 10ppm and 0.1ppm respectively, add biodiversity and keep it all stable... good recipe for cyano as well.

Yeah i dont have access to a microscope. so my plan at the moment is this. the Tank is an IM 25 lagoon. Ive ordered the IM UV light that IM makes. Ive also ordered a bottle of Plus-NP from tropic marin to help with keeping nutrients from getting too low. ive shut down the refugium as the chaeto was way too effiecient i believe and im gonna try to rely on water changes to keep nutrients and elements more stable.
Ive moved all my coral frags to my 10g. along with siphoning out as much as possible i also have a bottle of Dr tims Re-fresh and a bottle of Waste away coming. only tank inhabitants now are a few snails, a lawnmower blenny and 2 clowns so i should be fine to do a blackout for a few days and use the dr tims method. unless thats not something anyone recommends....

so i did a huge cleanup of everything including scrubbing the Rocks and syphoning the entire sand bed, then i did one treatment of DR tims refresh and overnight the tank looks almost back to new. pic is from last night right after the cleaning. the dark green on the rocks is actually starting to lighten up and disappear overnight.
