Would someone please tell me what this spagetti looking crap is? What it feeds on and how to get rid of. It's only in one end of tank and becoming a nuisance let alone ugly.

Poriferan sponge and starting to grow out of control. To get rid of it. pull rock out and allow to dry or start to dry and then peel/trim off. It is a filter feeder and safe- just grows out of control
