White ish tube things. On the side of a torch. Also can see one on the shell of an astrea snail. Are these vermetid snails? Something else? Just gunk/buildup?

I see pineapple sponges and spirorbid worms (both harmless)

vermetid snails look like poop piles and are brown and hard.

Can you take another photo, different angle of the coral please.

The ones on the torch are pineapple sponges, but I can’t tell what’s on the snail from the picture
Agree about the pineapple sponge, but the white tubing can be vermetide snail (if it's in the base the tube can appear white/clear (personally had one before, the tube was with 6-7mm diameter long about 5cm (without the base where is spiral)
The base is important, if it's complete spiral 90% vermetids nail.

Yeah, those are pineapple sponges. They tend to show up for a while in newer aquariums, then vanish. At worst, they're harmless filter-feeders - at best, they're substrate for bacteria colonies that'll help you keep your water in great condition.

I think all are what everyone say, pineapple sponges, but the particular few on the frag plug and the base where it's glued look a bit like tunicate. now I'm not sure do I see any hard shell pipe (like the vermetid have)
