Not green. That's why I'm so stumped. Solid darker color with an orange-red dot on each little ball. I have a pair of ocularis clownfish but I don't think these are their eggs at all.Appears to be bubble algae. Is it green? Can’t tell with blue lights.
Hmm, yes, me too. Too big to be clown eggs. Do you have Caulerpa in your tank? Color isn’t right but shape is similar. Not green. That's why I'm so stumped. Indeed. Others will chime in. Did you try removing it? Is it soft/hard? Does it move?Nope.
Tank is about a year and a half old. Right now we are dealing with aptisias (round two after we thought the bergia got rid of all of them just to have 4 now appear after no sign of them for several weeks), vermetids, gha, cyano (red slime), and some diatoms. Stuff went majorly out of wack after a sick fish got into the display tank back in the spring (never skipping quarantine again) and ended up losing several fish. This just looks completely different.
I was hoping to identify before touching them. They appear to be hard and don't move at all when I move the scrapper.Indeed. Others will chime in. Did you try removing it? Is it soft/hard? Does it move?

Here's a shot with the whites turned up. We don't have any caulerpa.Looks like bubble algae or segrapes from caulerpa. It may help to add one more pic under white lights
