This came in on my live rock from KP Aquatics about 2 months ago. Honestly thought it would probably die off, but now it’s growing a new piece on the other side. Probably about 4 different pieces of this around the whole rock. No idea what it is.

leaning towards macro algae but sorry I don’t have a definite answer. Maybe @AlgaeBarn can help if it is a macro

it is Halmeda and typical on florida and gulf rock. It is a cryptic species rarely consimed due to morphological convergence within the marine macroalgae.

yea its pretty cool was hoping it wasn't invasive or harmful. Good to know. Just let it be then
