Please help me iD this guy.
One of my hammers is struggling and when I decided to cut one of the heads this guy felt from the coral.

Doesn’t look like a typical flat worm or Eefw.. I’ve had them and they’re different.. not sure what that is.. this is the typical Eefw that stunts or kills lps.

Hard to tell for sure from the pic, but it looks like it might be a chiton (which would be a harmless algae eater).

Difficult to tell from the pic, but looks more like a limpet than a chiton to me. Chitons have segmented "backs". Either way, harmless and a good addition to your CuC. Can you provide a closer pic from above and maybe a side view to confirm?

Thanks for the response. It looks like chitons are bigger. This one is size of couple mm, size like flat worm size.

Most chitons are, but there are at least a handful of species (such as many Leptochiton spp.) that are tiny (the smallest I'm aware of is L. muelleri n. sp., which to my knowledge grows to a max known size of 2.1mm; others I know hit 8-11mm full grown). That said, it may very be a juvenile regular chiton as well, and not full grown yet.

Regardless, what's on the underside of the shell? Does the creature have limbs, or a snail-like foot?
