maybe a ricordea?
General ID? It looks like a Rhodactis mushroom to me.
I thought Yumas were from the Ricordea genus, not Rhodactis?Rhodactis Yuma
Opps- you are correct- I said rhodactus- totally different. Fixed and i have them all over my tank LOLI thought Yumas were from the Ricordea genus, not Rhodactis?
Ricordea yuma is the scientific name.
Though both (or all 3 mentioned in this thread so far) are types of "mushroom corals", there is still a distinct difference, thus different genus for each, for Rhodactis, Ricordea, and Discosoma mushrooms.

So, the ID for the original posted picture would be Rhodactis rather than Ricordea yuma correct? It looks very much the same as your pictures here, which are Rhodactis mushrooms.Opps- you are correct- I said rhodactus- totally different. Fixed and i have them all over my tank LOL

With the blurry photo it’s hard but the blue photo appears to be a R. florida over R. yuma. So, the ID for the original posted picture would be Rhodactis rather than Ricordea yuma correct? It looks very much the same as your pictures here, which are Rhodactis mushrooms.

Yep, sorry for any confusion. I also thought it was R. florida in the picture, but quoted previous post about R. yuma. With the blurry photo it’s hard but the blue photo appears to be a R. florida over R. yuma.
The Original photo is absolutely not a Ricordea species. They are instead of the genus Rhodactis, possibly a Rhodactis inchoata which can be sold in the hobby as Red/Orange Rhodactis mushrooms.
yellow/orange - Florida ricordea. Other RhodactisThat looks more like florida to me but I may be wrong
